Sunday Morning Zoom Service
Aaron and Lynsey Dowds are inviting you to a scheduled Sunday Morning Zoom Service this week.
A lot of families who are involved in the leading of the service are having to isolate this weekend which leaves us without enough people to be able to safely run the service hence the reason we’ve had to put it on to Zoom. Email Colleen for the zoom link details.
Pioneer Prayer – Tue 18th January 2022
We have seen wonderful answers to prayer over the last months.
In the Vine at present we have a prayer chain alerting us of prayer requests which we then pray over personally in our homes and corporately in our life groups…this will always be the case. If you have a personal prayer request please fill in the form here.
Pioneer Prayer is on most Tuesday nights from 9-930pm.
At Pioneer prayer we want to pray for new things, breakthroughs and miracles.
We aim for each to include any prayer chain requests, peoples requests on the night and focus on a topic or theme.
Next Blood Bank Sunday / Saturday evening Service
Scotblood are next here on Sunday 6th February. Our service will switch to Saturday 5th February 6-730pm that weekend.

Compassion UK – Haitian Earthquake
Will you pray with us for the Haitian people?
We’ve been devastated to hear of several earthquakes striking Haiti last Monday, aftershocks of the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that claimed more than 2,200 lives in August 2021.
Monday’s quakes struck the same region near the city of Les Cayes, about 200km west of the capital, Port-au-Prince, adding to the grief and pain still fresh in the minds of Haitians.
Please pray for protection & peace for all feeling afraid & discouraged. Ask God for wisdom & strength for our frontline church partners, project staff, children & their families.
We can take comfort from Psalm 46. ‘God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble… The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.’ (verses 1 and 11).

Open Doors UK & Ireland – Nigeria
In good news from Nigeria, all but one of the 121 students kidnapped from a Christian school last summer have been released.
The students were taken by armed bandits from Bethel Baptist School in Kaduna State on 5 July. They have since been released in batches, with the latest coming at the turn of the year.
Give thanks for the release of more students and ask God to heal all emotional, spiritual and physical wounds. Please pray that the remaining student will be soon released and reunited with their family.

Bibles for Uganda
“John Murabyo phoned to say he spent the last 3 days driving up & down the country ( literally in the Rwenzori mountain foothills) . He met with 500 people who have converted to Christianity. Among other things he he has been selecting those most suitable to receive the bibles given by the Vine. He will now buy the appropriate bibles & return to deliver them. Praise God for this ministry.” David & Helen Lyth
Not all Heroes Wear Capes
Not all heroes wear capes. Paul is such a great example to us in many ways. This morning he saw Colleen Izatt extra busy & rushing off to the shops to get grape juice for communion. Paul was attentive & aware enough to spot how busy Colleen was & offered to go to the shop to buy the juice. He not only did that he bought a sausage roll for Colleen who hadn’t had time for breakfast that morning. How amazing is Paul! LadBaby would be proud Paul also. Maybe we should sing the sausage roll song next week.
