Does anyone know the names of the ten spies who did not speak life? They are actually recorded in Numbers 13.
But to this day – and in this town – and in the football teams and classes of our kids – you can find a Joshua or a Caleb. And I dont mean metaphorically. I mean actual boys called Joshua and Caleb. Here. 3,500 yrs later. They live among us. There might even be one in your street.
I’ve yet to meet a Shaphat, a Gaddiel or a Nahbi son of Vophsi.
Point is that people who choose to speak life leave a mark. Change the course of history. Create a legacy. For generation after generation.
It is the fruit of speaking life.
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
