‘What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble – burned as they are?’
Nehemiah 4:2
Well the good news is…. God DOES make something from stones from a rubbish heap – and charred ones at that. With God’s help the people DID rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
And God DOES take the brokenness and the rubble of our lives and restore and rebuild us.
“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here.”
