Possessing Everything
How to Find Happiness and Contentment Now
2Co 6:10 (NIV) “sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.”
How and where do we find love and happiness and contentment? In the parable of the prodigal son we discover two lost sons looking outside the father’s house for love and happiness. One discovered he already possessed everything in father’s home and decided to go home. The other remains outside the home.
Luke 15:31 (NIV) “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.”
‘You are always with me’ is possessing everything but it’s easy to slave and work hard for father than enjoy being with Father. In this message we explore what it means to possess everything in order that we can live with contentment, gratitude and joy in every circumstance.
