(Jesus) came as light to the world, he came to break through the darkness and to shine for all to see. To give that message of hope, that message of freedom, that message of grace which was going to change the world for ever
In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it
